Dinner at the Depot- Kennesaw

20 Mar 2012 · by Connie Carlson

As the weather conitnues to improve, it goes without saying that some nights are so packed with fun that dinner doesn’t get on the table!  That’s why Kennesaw’s Downtown Development Authority is partnering with local food trucks for Dinner at the Depot.  Beginning on April 2nd, food trucks of all kinds will roll into Depot Park on Cherokee Street in downtown Kennesaw from 5 – 8 pm weekly, as the weather permits.  Join with your neighbors and community at large to make this gathering a success for Kennesaw.  The more people that come, the more future variety they will be able to offer.  This isn’t a prepackaged, deep-fried situation.  This is real food that is made fresh just for you, sometimes better and more unique than you can get in a restaraunt.  The following food trucks will be available on April 2nd:  Champion Cheesesteaks, Alisha’s BBQ, Buen Provecho, Cajun John’s, Happy Belly and Honeysuckle Gelato.  It’s the perfect time of year to picnic or just grab and go for dinner in Kennesaw.  If you can’t get out there April 2nd, the Kennesaw DDA will communicate details about the type and number of trucks via their Dinner at the Depot Facebook page.
